Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Split After 21 Months Of Marriage

Cuoco, 29, plays Penny in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory; along with her co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, she is now among one of the highest paid actors on television.

Earlier this week, Cuoco assured fans that Sweeting, was perfectly alright with watching her marry her ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki on the season premiere The Big Bang Theory. They got engaged three months after they started dating, and tied the knot at a lavish fire-and-ice-themed wedding on December 31, 2013. The rep added that there will not be any “further statement” issued about their divorce.

According to People Magazine, the couple released a joint statement through a rep. The 29-year-old Big Bang Theory actress and the 28-year-old tennis pro made the mutual decision to split recently.

Describing the beginning of their relationship, Cuoco-Sweeting told David Letterman in 2014 that it only took one date to fall in love.

They’re countered endless rumors of a split almost since the minute they announced their engagement in 2013, but after 21 months, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are calling it quits on their marriage.
