Kane wants to see out career at Tottenham
Now Harry Kane believes his club cannot only compete with Europe’s elite but win the trophies that have eluded them.
Amat, however, believes changing the manager is not the answer.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen said his “closed-eye” goal against Swansea City was among his best for the club and that it was more pleasing than the one he scored against Chelsea. We’ve got to aim high.
“You see the stadium being built every time we come here, little by little”. We have everything in the right place.
Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa lead the way at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with 10 apiece, but King believes Kane is just as good as his Manchester City and Chelsea counterparts.
“When I first joined things were different with a different manager and still at the old training ground as well. There was no hesitation on my part in signing the new deal”.
Vertonghen’s partnership with Toby Alderweireld last season was crucial to Tottenham launching a surprise title challenge and qualifying for the Champions League.
“After he [Sigurdsson] moved to Swansea, we saw him develop”, he said via the Daily Mirror.
Bob Bradley has admitted his Swansea side need to accept the fact they were “not good enough” as they were completely dismantled in a 5-0 loss to Spurs.
It means the Swans have won only once in the league since the opening day of the season and Bradley’s men have conceded three or more goals in five of their last seven games. However, their away form will be a matter of worry for Bob Bradley as they are without a win in the last five away fixtures in the league.
“We have ahead very important games and confidence is back”.
“It’s a shame but sometimes in football you never know what will happen in the future”. “The top four also play in the Champions League and you want to just keep playing and feel your fitness”. We have to use that to our advantage, try and push on and get wins like this.
“When we arrived at Tottenham, he was a player that was hard to assess”.
“We’re in a good place”.
“We have to realise that it’s been too long like this”.
Former Spurs captain Ledley King told ESPN FC that Kane may join him in being a one-club player and the forward says he sees no reason why not.
He added: “We fully deserved the result”.
But Tottenham did score a fourth on 70 minutes as Eriksen headed home from close range from Son’s cross and there was still time for Wanyama to miss a sitter from four yards out following Eriksen’s delivery.
