Kangana beats Deepika, Priyanka as highest paid actress

After the stupendous success of Queen and Tanu weds Manu Returns, Kangana Ranaut has most certainly become a house hold name not only in the metropolitan cities but in the heartland of the country as well. This amount is far more than what Deepika and Priyanka charge for a film. As a part of the film’s promotion, Kangana and Imran visited a radio station and interacted with the media.

Films like “Queen” and “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” booked her top slot in B-town as she single-handedly made both these casual films hit remarkably.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, Katti Batti is a romantic comedy and is set to release September 18.

Kangana is the only female actress, who have touched 100 crore club as alone starring in the lead role. “We are headed to that direction”, Kangana said during a promotional event.

“Whoever has seen the film has loved it, Aamir Khan loved it. The aspect that people actually love about the film is the innovative manner of narrating the love story”.

The song features Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan in their happy and sad moments together. When asked about that, the Revolver Rani actress said, “Not now, may be after sometime”. Male actors get into production, share profit and they don’t take money at times but are involved in some capacity which is economical and resourceful.

Kangana also is very keen on directing films but following a busy schedule, she hasn’t been able to do so. “There is no reason comparison now”, she adds.
