Kanye West and Trump meet in New York
West was not accompanied by wife Kim Kardashian West.
Tech industry leaders are to attend a conversation with the president-elect at Trump Tower on Wednesday.
“Urban development and job creation are everything”, Lewis told reporters after the meeting.
Prior to his recent hospitalization, West went on a rant during a performance in Sacramento last month where he said he didn’t vote in the election but if he did it would have been for Donald Trump.
Trump to West: So long, man. Of course, President-elect Trump may have been thanking ‘Ye for his dubious semi-endrosement when he told a San Jose, CA audience, “I told y’all that I didn’t vote”. Their meeting at Trump Tower lasted 15 minutes.
At a concert in November, West said he didn’t vote, but if he had he “would have voted for Trump”.
The pair then shared a surreal handshake before parting ways.

Rather, Trump’s rhetoric and actions suggest a worldview in line with West’s, one in which talent is supposed to work like a magic talisman, removing all obstacles to exerting control. “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago”.
They were met by Trump adviser, Omarosa Manigault.
Lewis is a former Super Bowl MVP linebacker who was accused of murder – later dropped by prosecutors – in the death of two men hours after the 2000 Super Bowl in Atlanta. “Black or white is irrelevant”.
West did not take questions.
This all comes as civil rights leaders have been asking for a meeting with Trump to discuss his upcoming administration’s positions on issues like housing and urban renewal.
Whether this means West is considering being an inaugural performer for Trump, whose team is now scrambling for some A-list talent, is up in the air. “Now maybe in a a few years I might have to run against him, I don’t know, so I’ll take that back”, Trump added.
Trump said in a television interview Sunday that he wasn’t interested in getting daily intelligence briefings, a practice that’s been a fixture for chief executives of both parties for several years.
“I said something that was kind of politically correct”. Kanye purportedly requested the meeting, and Trump said, “Why not?”
