Kanye West Auditions for ‘American Idol’ in San Francisco

His celebrity wife, Kim Kardashian first shared a photo of her husband trying out for the American Idol judges, and Seacrest later posted a celebratory photo of the rapper revealing his coveted Golden Ticket to the competition’s Hollywood Week.

The 54-year-old politician joked about the “Bound 2” hitmaker’s recent proclamations that he intends to run for office and suggested the rapper’s marriage to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian West would help him in his potential future career. It’s not hard to see why the show is packing it in; the ratings have gone down, and chances are, you don’t even know who won it this year.

Well, at this point, they pretty much have to show his audition. Perhaps the advice he was given by President Obama earlier in the day gave him just the confidence boost he needed.
