Kanye West Brings Out Jeezy, Kid CuDi During Performance Of “808s & Heartbreak”
As promised, Kanye West’s impromptu 808s & Heartbreak concert went down yesterday evening (September 25) at the Hollywood Bowl and he pulled out all the stops as he revived Auto-Tune for good reason. “Released in 2008, ‘808s” is a seminal album in the history of Hip hop music for it’s explorations of synth sounds, electronica, and the use of Autotune. Like most of the rapper’s concerts, West produced a visual spectacle with surprise guests and a star-studded crowd. That lack of preparation showed especially in the second half of the show. He indicated his technical difficulties stemmed from that when he self-deprecatingly told the crowd, “This is the best dress rehearsal I’ve ever had”.
According to effect of Sound, the 12-song set included never-before seen performance of “Bad News”, rarely-performed cuts “Welcome to Heartbreak”, “See You in My Nightmares”, “Amazing” and “RoboCop”.
Mirror Celeb has contacted a representative of Kanye West for comment. “To live real life, to be real”.
The Kanye West Hollywood Bowl Concert also featured some memorable guest performances too. Additionally, Kanye was joined by several of the album collaborators, specifically Kid Cudi, Young Jeezy, and Mr. Hudson, as well as a string orchestra and eight-person choir.

Kanye kicked off the first of a two-night stand and hopefully things go better Saturday night.
