Today (Sunday, September 18), West finally joined Instagram (gaining 347k followers correct at time of publishing) and shared his first post, a photo of a vehicle driving in the nighttime.

After entertaining followers with his outrageous rants on Twitter, Kanye West now has a verified Instagram account.

Get ready to change your push notifications people, cause Kanye West is on Instagram. Kanye could pull the plug on Instagram at any minute if you think too long about his art.

But who expected West’s Instagram to be predictable?

Earlier this year Yeezy spoke on maybe joining Instagram in the future.

“It’s our life’s mission to create the most transformative experiences”, he wrote.

Whatever he chooses, it will be on his terms, thank you very much, as he explicitly stated via Twitter back in March. “With love and respect, Kanye West”.
