Kanye West is banned from giving Obama advice
Kanye West will perform at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser on October 10th, in San Francisco.
Furthermore, the 38-year-old will even be debuting a few new songs from his eagerly-anticipated new album SWISH!
Either memories are short, or the air may have been cleared between West and the president, who, in 2009 called the hip-hop artist an “jackass” for storming the stage during Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech.
Tickets for the DNC’s mixer are selling for $250 to $10,000 each, the report said.
Rapper Kanye West performs onstage at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival at MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 18, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
DNC member Robert Zimmerman quipped, “Kanye will be an exciting draw, especially compared to the Republicans booking Wayne Newton or Clint Eastwood”.
“There will be restrictions”, a source told Page Six.
Kanye West for President?
Kanye West is a busy man. Not only does he have to juggle his music career alongside fatherhood and preparing for an apparent 2020 presidential bid, he also seems to be in demand at political fundraisers.
The outspoken entertainer’s boast is not the first time he has entered the White House’s orbit.
