Kanye West leaves Jay-Z’s company
Tidal allegedly sent a letter to West saying that if he tries to go with another streaming service they’d sue him.
According to reports by TMZ, Kanye West sued Tidal over money that he believes is owed by Jay-Z’s streaming service. With rumors like this, many fans are left to wonder if Kanye West and JAY-Z still friends period.
On the album released earlier this week, Jay Z apparently made reference to West on the opening track “Kill Jay-Z”.
And it seems that Kanye is really furious because of this. Allegedly, the lawyer also informed Tidal that its agreement with Kanye West had ended.
As a result, West’s lawyer reportedly sent two letters to Tidal claiming the company was in breach and its contract with West was terminated.
Kim Kardashian is anxious about how Kanye West’s feud with Jay Z could potentially lead to another meltdown for the rapper.
“You dropped outta school, you lost your principles / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f-k was he thinkin’?”
The “Famous” rapper also claimed that the company was supposed to reimburse him for the cost of various music videos and failed to come through.
Long story short, we’ll be hearing about this beef for a long time. Sources close to the situation say West’s lawyers contacted Tidal a month ago about the termination of his contract.
But Kanye West was not satisfied with Tidal following the release of his last album, The Life of Pablo. It is yet to see if this report will be confirmed and how this legal issue will end.
The 40-year-old said: “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feelin?'”.
In turn, JAY-Z is reportedly threatening to sue his former pal if he opts to move his music to a different platform.
