Kanye West Performed All Of 808s & Heartbreak For The First Time Ever
This weekend sees Kanye West performing his fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak, in full during back-to-back nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. However, the ornate evening was apparently marred by technical difficulties, with Kanye commenting “This is one of the best dress rehearsals…so please excuse…” during the performance. According to TMZ, West was so late for Thursday’s scheduled rehearsal, he was prohibited from doing a run-through due to sound ordinances.
And Kanye did perform a few songs, like “Welcome to Heartbreak” and “Amazing”, for the first time since 2009.
Unfortunately, the second half didn’t go as well when ‘Ye ordered the music to stop because the track was off. In the video above, you can hear Kanye get fed up as he orders the sound peeps to shut the music off.
There’s never a boring moment whenever Kanye West performs live in concert. “I just want to be a real boy”, he sings using Auto-Tune.
This isn’t the first questionable costume Kanye West has worn.
Watch some of Kanye West’s performances below. On Friday (September 26) at the Hollywood Bowl, West was accompanied by a symphony orchestra, which included a female conductor, string section, and choir. Among the celebrity guests to take the stage with West were Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Kid Cudi, and Zoe Kravitz. It’s great that he’s learning the value of preparation before he runs for president in 2020.
