Kanye West, Pharrell appear in Daft Punk documentary trailer
A new trailer for Daft Punk documentary Unchained sees the band tease fans with removal of their masks. “Who revolutionized dance music the most?” posits West. “I think you’d say, “Daft Punk“.
It was originally announced in June 2014 that Daft Punk would be the subject of a new TV documentary, produced by BBC Worldwide France.
Rare footage and exclusive interviews help to highlight key moments in the duo’s 20-year history, during which Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have managed to keep their faces hidden while becoming a pop culture phenomenon.
The French documentary premiered with English subtitles in London last weekend. Hervé Martin Delpierre directed the feature and co-wrote it with Marina Rozenman.

The star studded appearances don’t stop there though with Giorgio Moroder, Michel Gondry, Todd Edwards, Pete Tong, photographer Peter Lindbergh, artist Leiji Matsumoto and former manager and Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter all speaking about the legendary producers.
