Kanye West’s ‘Meltdown’ Before ‘SNL’ Was Caught On Tape

Kanye West is all about the headlines this week and once again he’s stepping up the beef between himself and Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, a source from West’s camp has since confirmed the incident, explaining, “Right before he was about to go on live television they took his stage apart”.

In the one-minute clip, West calls Taylor Swift a “fake-a**”, before lamenting the comedy variety show for the set changes. “If I am going to do this we are breaking the motherf– Internet”, West is heard shouting in the audio clip. I went through six years of this f– s–. “Lets get to it bro, lets get to it bro”, he says.

Kanye rants: “Are they f***ing insane?” Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f***ing Picasso and Escobar. But 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f-k with me.

The folks over at the Page Six have uncovered audio of Ye totally losing his shit backstage at SNL. Rumors surfaced today that Kanye almost walked off set after his stage had been tampered with at the last moment, ET reports. As reported, the rapper was incredibly upset about last-minute changes to his stage setup and other arrangements agreed upon prior to the live show. SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels and Kim Kardashian reportedly pled with the controversial artist to not bail on the show.

They said: “It was like he was having an emotional breakdown”.

“He spent an entire day rehearsing and a lot of hard work into the performance”.

Given what everyone knows about the rapper/producer/clothing designer/self-proclaimed deity, you could assume the types of things that West had to say about his brief time on SNL. He was unhappy about his performance set, their sources claimed, and the way he was being treated by SNL staffers in general.

His mention of Swift in the lyrics led to a series of social media attacks, while the singer’s representative dismissed West’s claims he was given the OK to mention her – by Swift herself.
