Kardashian-Jenners release statement on Lamar Odom

News learned that Odom’s condition remains “no better, no worse”.

The basketball star has been in a critical condition at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas since Tuesday (13Oct15), when he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch South brothel in nearby Crystal, Nevada.

Destiny and Lamar – who are Odom’s children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales – released a statement saying: “Thanks for you outpouring of prayers and support for our dad”.

The entire reality show family have visited Odom at Nevada Hospital, with ex-wife Khloe keeping vigil at his bedside.

The staff told authorities that Odom had used cocaine.

Sisters Khloe, Kim, Kendall, Kylie and Courtney posted identical statements on Thursday night, explaining that they will not be publishing content on their sites.

While his situation has been called “dire”, the Kardashian-Jenner family is “praying for a miracle to happen”. Dennis Hof, the owner of the brothel at which Odom was first found unresponsive, has been speaking out about Odom’s stay and even bashing Kardashian in the process. They said Odom had been taking herbal Viagra and had drunk part of a bottle of cognac. A source told the publication, “Likely there’s brain damage, but they’re not sure how much”.

Besides putting their apps on hiatus, many of them have also shared emotional messages of support on social media asking fans to pray for Odom. Khloe also reportedly arranged to have two of Lamar’s children flown out from New York to see their father.

According to recording played for reporters on Wednesday, the 911 callers at Love Ranch told dispatchers that Odom had what appeared to be blood coming from his nose and mouth, along with “a white substance”, the local sheriff said.

Odom, 35, is now on life support after being rushed to hospital after collapsing in a brothel on Tuesday.

Although Khloe and Lamar had both signed divorce papers earlier this year following a four-year marriage, the divorce has yet to be granted and Lamar didn’t create a will, which means that Khloe is in charge of all medical decisions.
