Karim Benzema agent responds to Arsenal rumours

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger still has the appetite for success despite going over a decade since his last Premier League title, insists Gunners’ chief executive Ivan Gazidis.

Though the speculations sound too good to be true, it seems that there might be some truth in them after all.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was rumoured to be seeing Rihanna just a few weeks ago, yet now he appears to have confirmed he’s well and truly taken – by someone else.

This leaves Arsenal with the option of looking at their alternatives to Benzema.

The 27-year-old scored 22 goals in 38 games for Los Blancos last season but reports suggest that the former Napoli boss is intending on giving Cristiano Ronaldo the number nine role for the upcoming campaign.

The agent of Karim Benzema has claimed that he is “1,000 per cent” sure that the striker and reported Arsenal target is staying at Real Madrid this summer. Youngster Chuba Akpom has come close to breaking through into the first team on a more regular basis, but is nearly certainly still too raw to lead the line on his own.
