Karisma is not giving Sunjay access to

Pinkvilla report Kapur’s lawyer, Aman Hingorani, stated, “Karisma is not complying, she is not letting Sunjay meet their children”.

Meanwhile, in reciprocation, Sunjay’s lawyer Narayan Suvarna said, “Even we have filed an application to withdraw consent from the petition on the same ground – that there is no compliance from her (Karisma’s) side”.

Karisma Kapoor was at the Family Court in Bandra on Friday, (November 27).

Karisma Kapoor who had filed for divorce from her estranged husband Sanjay Kapur on mutual consent has now chose to withdraw her consent to the petition due to her husband’s alleged inability to meet with the financial commitments. She made a decision to withdraw her consent to the petition because Sanjay reportedly did not fulfill the set commitments mentioned in the consent terms agreed upon the two of them in family court earlier. “Sunjay has complied throughout, Karisma is the one who is backing out”. “He is taking care of the maintenance of the flat as well as all their expenses”. They kept postponing and kept us engaged in talks.

Karisma’s lawyer, Kranti Sathe told the daily, “The petition did not formalise on Wednesday. Documents speak the truth”.

Apparently, Kapur has said that Kapoor is not allowing him access to their children.

Sanjay and Karisma tied the knot in 2003 but things turned sour between the two quite soon. After many fights and patch-ups, Karisma moved out of her husband’s house in 2009 and returned to Mumbai.

Either party can now file a fresh divorce case on other grounds available with them.
