Karisma Kapoor’s husband accuses her of marrying him for money

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kapur, in his divorce petition has accused Karisma of “cruelly depriving” his father access to his children Samaaira and Kiaan.

The Bandra family court on Friday began hearing the fresh divorce case filed by Sunjay Kapur against estranged wife Karisma. Just yesterday, Sunjay Kapur came out in open and gave a statement that Karisma married him exclusively for his money.

When Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor tied the knot on September 29, 2003 with topnotch Delhi industrialist Sunjay Kapur, the world at large was slightly sceptical about this match.

As quoted by a leading tabloid, Karisma Kapoor’s lawyer Kranti Sathe, has also rubbished all the allegations as false and that he Sunjay is causing great harm to the children’s welfare by spreading false stories. He claims that they are Kapoors and they don’t need anyone’s money. The couple filed for a divorce by mutual consent and have been going through a legal battle for the past couple of years. He thinks that his family has talent, which can support them rest of their lives.

Randhir Kapoor also added, “Sunjay is a third class man. I never wanted Karisma marrying him”. “Sunjay has debauchery in his system and never cared for his wife. I would not like to say anything more than this”, he revealed.

In the petition, Sunjay had also accused Karisma of not being a good mother and on this Randhir said, “Everyone knows Karisma has always been a good mother”. “The allegations against Karisma are all false”. In 2011, Karisma shifted to Mumbai and started staying with her mother Babita.

4 When Sunjay asked Karisma to be the sole trustee for the trust fund for the kids, she refused that and wanted her sister Kareena to be her successor.
