Kate Gosselin Ousted from “Celebrity Apprentice”
The Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin was disappointed on her exit from NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice, on Monday night. According to her, Donald Trump perhaps faltered in his decision to retain Real Housewives of Atlanta’s star Kenya Moore.
She blamed Moore and her girl drama for her surprising exit from the show. Gosselin assumed the role of the project manager for her team Vortex involving Geraldo Rivera, Moore and Vivica A. Fox. During a task, the team had to create an interactive experience to promote Trump National Doral Miami resort along with its amenities. Gosselin was in for a big mess when she teamed up Moore and Fox for shopping of supplies. Moore made things too difficult to handle for the mother of eight.
Gosselin managerial skills were questioned by the judge Eric Trump who said that the team’s their experience wasn’t interactive and lacked luxury. Gosselin, being the project manager was fired after her team lost. She blamed the incessant ladies’ theatrics and bickering for Team Vortex’s defeat. Team Vortex’s only male Rivera took a backseat as Moore, Fox, and Gosselin’s arguments reached the boiling point.
Single mom of 8, Gosselin, 39, however, views the experience on the show as a positive one and feels that watching The Celebrity Apprentice together as a family with her brood of eight would be fun.
She achieved worldwide recognition on the American reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8 that revolved around her and hubby Jon Gosselin as they raised their large family of twins and sextuplets. After she split from husband Jon Gosselin in 2009, the show was renamed Kate Plus 8. She is reportedly dating millionaire businessman, Jeff Prescott, 51.
