Kate Winslet: Growing Up “I Only Heard Negatives” About Body Image
Kate Winslet knows exactly what we want to see – her doing the “Titanic” scene off the side of a cliff, obviously. Bear Grylls requires a lot of faith from the (celebrity) participants on his TV show.
Winslet is the next celebrity volunteer for the show, and her survival skills are put to the test.
British actress Kate Winslet struggled to accept her fuller figure during her youth because the women in her life failed to promote a positive attitude toward body image. She is holding onto a rope while walking down the side of the cliff and to make matters worse, Grylls asks her to let go of the rope. Today, NBC released a segment from the big episode, and it features a moment when Winslet reenacts her famous scene from Titanic, where shes standing on the edge of the boat and looking out over the horizon with her beau Jack.
“Jack, I feel like I’m flying!”
Sorry, Leo! Kate Winslet has replaced you with someone a little more unsafe.
“You jump, I jump, right?” the actress replies (another “Titanic” quip), before demanding that Grylls gets her “down off this f-king thing”. (Sadly, Rose never uttered that last line in the flick.).
Grylls has gone on other survival expeditions with celebrities including Ben Stiller, Kate Hudson, and Zac Efron.
