Kate Winslet told to settle for ‘fat girl parts’

The preoccupation with the pair shows little sign of abating, particularly after Winslet declared DiCaprio “her closest friend in the world” and he created a “collective aww” backstage at the Batas by praising her as his “my homegirl”.

Winslet mentioned the insensitive educator after winning the BAFTA award for her role as Joanna Huffman in “Steve Jobs” on Sunday night. There are some famous personalities including Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith who will boycott the Academy Awards for its lack of diversity.

Alas, while she went on to “die an old lady in a warm bed”, Jack met a heartbreaking end that must surely cause a rift between Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Winslet also attended the Starmaker theatre school in Reading, of which she is now patron, at evenings and weekends from the age of 10 to 15. “I would take a very dim view of somebody who said that”.
