Katherine Rees Miss Nevada Arrested Meth Possession Trafficking
Katherine Nicole Rees, maybe better known as ex- Miss Nevada who was stripped of her crown in 2006 after nude photos surfaced, is in new legal hot water. On Wednesday, the court issued a warrant for her arrest, which her attorney is attempting to throw out. The beauty pageant alum, 30, was arrested on drug-related charges this week, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
In 2007, after she was stripped of her Miss Nevada title, Rees spoke exclusively to INSIDE EDITION’s Deborah Norville where she talked about losing her crown.
In 2008, she paid fines for several misdemeanor traffic violations. The complaint also says Rees conspired with “Unknown co-conspirators”.
In court papers filed on Monday, Rees was busted in relation to selling meth to someone back in September in addition to being found with over 5 grams of the substance about a month later. In 2009 Australian customs officials discovered Rees’ luggage tested positive for cocaine after being swabbed.
In 2012 she came clean, pleading guilty to a misdemeanor drug charge. I don’t use any kind of pill, no kind of Xanax, no anything.
Even after counseling, Rees was unable to stay away from drugs. “I don’t use anything”.
And this isn’t Rees’ first run-in with the law.
A ex- Miss Nevada is facing a string of meth-related drug charges, according to a criminal complaint filed this week.
Ree’s Facebook page, which has since been deleted, was reported by the Review Journal to identify her as a “peace shaman” and said she was a “Warrior of Light”, which was an “Indigo child/ starseed, healer, keeper and teacher of ancient wisdom, helping to raise the frequency (vibration) of humanity to the new 5D Earth through enlightenment, peace and love”.
