Katie Hopkins: UK ‘has far too many old people’
CONTROVERSIAL TV celebrity Katie Hopkins looks set to attract criticism again after saying she is in favour of euthanasia vans.
Hopkins reflected on a piece she wrote in April which compared migrants to “cockroaches” and suggested she would use “gunships” to stop boat people arriving from the Mediterranean.
Meanwhile, former athlete Linford Christie has revealed he turned down the chance to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
The media personality said told the Radio Times: “We just have far too many old people”.
Katie Hopkins has a simple solution to the problem of overcrowding in this country – “Euthanasia vans… perfectly charming”.
“They might even have a nice little tune they’d play”, Hopkins said. “I mean this genuinely”, Katie continued.
“I’m giving a voice to a whole bunch of people who are frustrated by this continuing war that makes us super PC, that demands we be multicultural at all times, in all aspects of our life. We need to accept that just because medical advances mean we can live longer, it’s not necessarily the right thing to do”.
And her solution to the problem is not one we’ve heard before.
“They split you into A and B streams, which was great because you knew you were with the bright ones and all the thick kids were in the B group”.
‘It was fine and super-efficient – I still think so.
“But I’ve never apologised for anything I’ve said, I’ve stood by everything I’ve said”.
“There’s some things about that column, there are some words which in hindsight you’d probably pull out of there”, she told the country’s Press Association yesterday. I think there’s an idea I want to convince everyone to have “my world order” like some kind of North Korean Kim Jong Un.
