Katrina Kaif’s ‘Fitoor’ earns Rs.3.61 crore on opening day

As per UTV Motion Pictures, Fitoor made INR 3.61 crores on first day and according to T-Series Sanam Re has opened to INR 5.04 crores. The film even received mixed review from the critics and the viewers.

Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, the film which also features Rishi Kapoor showcases a love triangle between Yami, Pulkit and Urvashi Rautela. It is a film made on a low budget of Rs 15 crore.Fitoor, on the other hand is a film featuring a big star cast of Katrina, Aditya and Tabu.

This is the first time that Yami Gautam was seen romancing Fukrey actor Pulkit Samrat on screen and their sizzling chemistry has done wonders in attracting crowds to the screens.

Reports suggest that Sanam Re that boasts of an engaging and catchy musical score has opened on a good note with occupancy rates being pegged at a strong 35-40% during morning shows.

Based on Charles Dickens’ novel Great Expectations, the film holds you back till the last scene of the film. Divya’s risk has paid off well as Sanam Re has beaten Fitoor at the box office on the opening day.
