Katy Perry Really Lost Control of Things at Burning Man

The pop singer wore a thick fur coat over her dress, boots, oversized goggles, and a mask, making her look like a character from the wasteland of “Mad Max: Fury Road”. This was the first time she’d ever attended the desert festival.

Perry was not the only celebrity at this year’s Burning Man, which tends to be known for its wild partying and nudity.

Perry posted an Instagram video of herself trying – and failing – to balance on a Segway. She led a march carrying his ashes into a temporary church which was going to be set on fire after the “man”.

In the background musicians play on one of the enormous freaky moving structures especially built by revelers for the festival, this one resembling a huge tank with bicycles strapped to its tracks.

Let’s hope that Katy managed to get a grip of her Segway by then!

Katy spins in circles before before falling off her Segway. She tried chasing down the “runaway vehicle” but finally gave up and waited for it to finish its insane circling and settle down beside her.

But Katy tweeted way back in 2014 that she wished she was at Burning Man getting “counter cultured”. Mark Zuckerberg even helicoptered in once to see what Burning Man was all about.
