An ESPN report in May said the Spurs were anxious Leonard’s group – led by uncle Dennis Robertson and agent Mitch Frankel – intentionally sought to sabotage the team’s relationship with Leonard in hopes of getting him traded to a larger market. A few obstacles stand in the way of Cleveland pulling off a deal for Leonard. While Los Angeles is preferred is destination as Leonard himself grew up in California, one team tried to trade for him back in February and that team was the Boston Celtics. With two days remaining until the 2018 NBA Draft, rumors are continuing to swirl regarding a potential Kawhi Leonard trade from the San Antonio Spurs.
