KC Planned Parenthood shows solidarity with Colorado clinic
Planned Parenthood, which is the nation’s largest abortion provider, has been in the national spotlight since the July release of undercover videos that allegedly showed employees discussing the illegal sale of tissue and organs from aborted fetuses for profit.
Supporters are convinced there’s a link between anti-Planned Parenthood commentary and the violence in Colorado Springs.
The flags were lowered after the Colorado Springs shooting and were still lowered when Hickenlooper announced Thursday they would remain lowered for the victims of the shootings in San Bernadino, Calif. Speaking calmly, she said her husband’s message to the world was “Put your faith in the Lord”.
“Right now, we know people are looking to Planned Parenthood to continue being that voice that asks for an end to the rhetoric and to really stand strong in the face of what’s going on and we want people to know”. The organization is, above all else, a health care center for all people, but especially lower income women.
But if you listen to so many in the abortion-rights movement, most on the political left but a significant number on the right and in the middle, I killed three people at Planned Parenthood because: 1) I oppose abortion; 2) I openly criticize the unethical and borderline criminal acts of abortion providers; and 3) I am a self-professed, unapologetic Christian.
Cecile Richards will join Planned Parenthood patients, staffers and supporters for the Denver-area event Saturday morning. Colorado officials say they plan to charge him with first-degree murder, which could carry the death penalty. But little has been normal since the attack, just the latest incident thought to target clinics that provide abortions.
Recently, the attack on the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic have taken to Twitter to celebrate the deranged man for killing innocent people.
“They need to be even more aware of their surroundings and any changes, looking out for threatening people and potentially risky changes in their environments”, she said. In Claremont, N.H., a town of 13,000 where a clinic providing abortion was recently vandalized with a hatchet, Police Chief Alexander Scott said officers are taking extra care to keep an eye on the clinic.
In Ohio on Friday, Democratic state lawmakers proposed a bill to create “buffer zones” around clinics that perform abortions, a space in which protests are not allowed.
She said: “We continued on with our business in regularly scheduled clinic hours like we have continued on through every incident, living out our commitment to care, no matter what”.
