Kelly Osbourne apologises for View remarks about Latinos

Kelly stated, “In what way does he think that people are going to vote for him after he’s just called them rapists and murderers?”

Sometimes, sometimes not, but definite gay icon wannabe, Katie Hopkins has lashed out (yes lashed, but we could of used the words slammed, blasted or sucker punched) at Kelly Osbourne over her remarks on The View, in which she said “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?” Though she later tweeted an apology to Osbourne after the show.

“I want to just start by making something clear: The point she was actually trying to make was that Donald Trump’s stance on immigration will only end up hurting the people that Donald Trump is counting on”, Goldberg said (via Us Weekly).

“I don’t think I need to comment”, she said. Two days after winning, the Post admitted the story had been fabricated and she resigned.

Meanwhile, Osbourne posted on Instagram on Wednesday that she is responsible for her “poor choice of words” but not for being a racist.

For those that aren’t aware, Osbourne made a very public show of quitting her job on the E! series “Fashion Police” after Rancic made a joke about singer Zendaya’s dreadlocks and the 18 year old smelling like patchouli oil and weed. “My apologies Kelly Osbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos”.

The ladies on The View discussed the incident further some hours ago, and perhaps not surprisingly, Whoopi Goldberg and Raven Symone came to Kelly’s defense.

The comedian went on to explain that those kinds of slip-ups are run-of-the-mill for a live talk show like “The View“.

Just like other celebrities who made social blunders, Osbourne hopes that what happened could open up the issue on immigration and the Latin community.

She ended her statement by stating she cleans her own toilets.
