Kenan and Kel Reunite for Good Burger Sketch on Jimmy Fallon

Kenan Thompson gets into character with Kel Mitchell while reuniting on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (September 23) in New York City.

Cue Kel’s dim-witted character Ed asking frustrated customers: “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?” The pair traded barbs as in days of olde, when the Earth was young, and Death but a dark rumbling on a distant horizon.

Kenan and Kel were reunited with a little help from Jimmy Fallon!

Only Jimmy Fallon could make this happen and on the heels of his hilarious “Jimpire” sketch, he’s probably having the best show week ever.

After a series of mishaps involving mustard and a “chicken rap”, Thompson walks in playing the role of a construction worker called Lester Oakes.

It has been years since we’ve seen the likes of edgy teenage comedies geared towards youthful television watchers, and it often times makes us all nostalgic for the television of the 90s. When Kenan and Kel went off the air in 2000, people often wondered if there would be a reunion.

Kenan has reclaimed his surname and has become Kenan Thompson, one of the more consistently amusing stars of NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
