Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell Reunite For ‘Good Burger’ Sketch On ‘The Tonight
In the sketch from “The Tonight Show, ‘ Kel reprised his role as Ed, the hilarious Good Burger employee, who’s now a manager at the restaurant working with Jimmy Fallon“.
The “Good Burger” sketch was originally featured on Nickelodeon’s All That and spawned an eponymous movie in 1997. After screwing up Steve Higgins and Black Thought’s orders, Ed meets yet another All That character, Lester Oaks (construction worker).
Kenan and Kel have reunited in an awesome sketch for The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
The seven-minute sketch riffs on their 1997 film Good Burger, the tale of two delightfully inept fast food workers that is now a cult classic in the nostalgia canon.
But as you’ll see in the clip, it’s still “all Good!” Kel never took much offense to it, but went on record a couple of times stating his former co-star wanted nothing to do with him.
The pair got into the usual Good Burger hijinks involving miscommunications with customers and the mishandling of food. I mean, how could we forget the Saved By The Bell reunion? On October 5, Nickelodeon officially launches “The Splat”, a new multiscreen way to enjoy ’90s Nick shows, including, “All That“, “Are You Afraid of the Dark”, “Hey Arnold!“, “Legends of the Hidden Temple” and, of course, “Kenan & Kel“. Hes also the lead in a live action Nickelodeon comedy called Game Shakers, where he plays a rap superstar who starts up a gaming company with a couple of 12-year-olds. Their encounter on The Tonight Show was equally gratifying (for fans, not Lester). Check out the long-awaited Kenan & Kel reunion below, along with a behind-the-scenes interview with the two!
