Is it a reincarnation of Kendall Jenner? The reality star, aged 18 years, went through a reinvention. She is a whole new woman now. It seems she does not want to be famous through her name, but by her skills.

She bid a sweet adieu to her surname Jenner, to make it simply Kendall. So, from now on, she would be popular among all just as Kendall and no more as Kendall Jenner. In fact, with this, she has joined the list of other celebrities who have done the same thing, namely Madonna, Adele, Cher and Shakira. Kendall’s modelling agency, The Society Management’s website first announced the notice of the change.

As the new revealed during the beginning of the week, Kendall herself revealed that her admirers were slow on the uptake. Also, she had been a single-namer for few months now. Also, Kim Kardashian’s half sis stated that she first trialed the switch when she made her debut in the fashion world. It was her much talked about debut where she first tried out the transformation, walking in shows for Giles and Marc Jacobs.

She exclusively revealed to US Weekly that “I did it last year at all the castings too” Also, she added that she goes only by her initial name. In addition, Kendall revealed to US Weekly, that the sole reason behind her dropping of the first name was her choice.

Kendall, recently, stated that her popular last name was not an advantage to her modelling profession. She was featured on the September issue of Teen Vogue. The model said, “People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known.” She also added, “They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder.”?
