Kendrick Lamar, Toby Keith Performing on “Late Show With Stephen Colbert”
The two stars who will be appearing exactly two weeks from Tuesday: George Clooney and Jeb Bush. Now, CBS has revealed the entire first week of guests for their new flagship late-night program. The motive behind inviting them on the show is not very clear for now, but there is a possibility that Colbert will bring more tech and business experts on his shows rather than focusing exclusively on entertainment.
When The Late Show premieres this September 8th, all eyes will be on the comedian made famous by his bombastic Bill O’Reilly-inspired character as host of The Colbert Report.
When Stephen Colbert takes over “The Late Show” in September, he’ll be turning to the world of tech for some of his first guests. (Hopefully, that duo will play beer pong while doing Stupid Human Tricks.) Now it’s been announced that the September 9 show will feature Scarlett Johansson; Elon Musk, chief executive of Tesla Motors and SpaceX; and Kendrick Lamar (who, close observers will note, had previously been slotted into opening night).
– Thursday: Uber CEO Travis Kalanick; musical performance by Toby Keith.
Other week one visitors include Scarlett Johansson, Elon Musk, Travis Kalanick, Amy Schumer, and Stephen King. Viewers will also get to see Troubled Waters performing and being interviewed.
