Kevin Durant After Choosing Warriors: ‘I Didn’t Leave My Bed’

USA Today reports that Durant didn’t go outside because he wanted to “be around family and positive support”. I definitely commend him for being fearless, for trying something new. “To me, it will be kind of interesting, and not that they can’t but how they develop that chemistry”, Krzyzewski said. “Just from what I’ve seen, Kevin Durant has shown that he wants change”.

Lil B says that he no longer holds any harsh feelings towards the 27-year-old. It probably isn’t easy to leave the franchise you helped build from the ground up, but it’s unlikely you’ll find many Thunder fans out there who feel too sympathetic for Durant.

The Warriors openly courted the free agent, who is signing a 2-year, $54.3 million contract. People have to remember that from 1991 to 2003 only Chicago, Houston, LA and San Antonio won a title; so, to say that Durant’s decision has watered down the NBA’s competitive balance is just silly.

With the Golden State Warriors wrapping up Summer League play this past week, it means that basketball is all but done until training camp arrives and the team gets ready for the preseason.
