Khloé Kardashian’s hopes for Caitlyn Jenner
Jenner’s Vanity fair cover, released in early June, marked her first public appearance as a woman.
Given the monster ratings for Bruce Jenner’s sit-down interview with Diane Sawyer in which the Olympic gold medalist revealed plans to switch genders from male to female, expectations were high that Caitlyn’s subsequent reality show would likewise be a ratings blockbuster.
According to Radar Online, the mastermind behind Keeping Up With the Kardashians got her daughters pretty nice paychecks for the series, but when it came to her own personal gain she decided she didn’t need it.
It appears that viewers have become bored of reality show I Am Cait after just one week. It seems that even with the cameos from the Kardashian and Jenner girls and even Kanye West, Caitlyn’s viewership isn’t rising.
That’s a far cry from the 2.732 million who tuned in for the July 26 premiere.
Rick Porter writes that a central scene with Ani (Rachel McAdams), Ray (Colin Farrell) and Paul (Taylor Kitsch) ends with Ani throwing up her hands and groaning because nothing makes any sense to them. The series debut had 2.7 million viewers, then grew to 3.9 million with DVR playback.
Community and Glee have both been cancelled after six seasons each, while Parenthood, Utopia, A to Z and Two and a Half Men have, among others, also fallen by the way.
