Khloe Kardashian opens up about support from James Harden during Odom Lamar’s
As Khloe Kardashian keeps a vigil at estranged husband Lamar Odom’s bedside, she admits she is so glad to have a “supportive” boyfriend in James Harden.
She told The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday’s (16.11.15) show: “It’s definitely a very unique situation, to say the least”. “But I’m a very honest person and I have nothing to hide and I was very open with how I feel like I had to handle everything with Lamar”.
In an admitted case of unfortunate timing (Kardashian skeptics believe otherwise, of course) Khloe has released a “lifestyle” book and has made multiple promotional commitments on magazines, TV shows, and for book signings in the weeks following Lamar’s hospitalization. “But it will take at least a year, at least”. Or, you know, you’re just trying to get it right and everyone makes mistakes.
“When I first filed for divorce, it was one too many times of Lamar either not following through with rehab or one of our interventions”, Khloe told Ryan Seacrest today.
“There is so much more medically and emotionally that we have to go through in order to even think about anything romantically”, she said.
Though there is no official word from the hospital where Odom is now recovering, statements from people close to him are sparking rumors as to his condition.
Regardless of how long it takes, Kardashian plans on sticking by his side and told Seacrest that she’s grateful Harden has been so understanding.
In spite of the reports that he’s getting better, Lamar Odom is still in a very rough shape as he’s having a hard time to move and speak because of what happened.
She acknowledged that her relationship with both James and Lamar may seem unconventional, but appreciated her boyfriend’s support. And he’s really supportive and great. “That’s a way easier thing to say”. Not really. According to Khloe, her mother and sisters only wanted her to have time for herself amid a very stressful trial in her life.
