Khloe Kardashian recalls terrible time working with Donald Trump on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’
When asked if she thought Trump would make for a good commander in chief, she said, “I don’t think he would make a good president”.
The interview, which also featured former contestants Clay Aiken and Nene Leakes, was also a safe space to call out The Donald as an ill-equipped presidential candidate.
“It just is something I would never do”, Kardashian said.
“I don’t think so, no”, Kardashian replies. I don’t think he ran because… he has any policy positions… but he ran because he realized, ‘I can tap into this anti-establishment fervor that’s in the country, and I can just get people to love me because I’m not a politician.’…
Khloe laughed off the dig at her “momager’s” influence over her kids, but also confirmed, “I don’t think he would make a good president”. “What is that going to prove in my real life?” “When I went on the show I thought he was very nice and true to what he was”, adds Leakes.
“It wasn’t for me”, Khloe Kardashian, 32, admitted on Chelsea Handler’s Netflix show July 25 about her 2009 appearance on Donald Trump’s reality show Celebrity Apprentice.
She told “Chelsea”: “The experience of it is something I would never do”. “My mom made me do it, of course, so I did it and hated every minute of it”.
Kris explained that she chose to retain her surname out of respect for her two daughters with Bruce – 20-year-old Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, 18.
“That’s frightening to me”, he said. Trump’s children Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr. have all been featured on the competition reality series, who the former contestants have nothing but positive feeling toward.
Then Kardashian has her turn. “She’s cool. She’s normal.’ Yeah, I remember that pretty well for some reason'”.
When asked if Jenner would support him, Khloe said, “I don’t think so, no”, with a shake of her head. “I don’t want to do this'”.
