Kia Cadenza gets full redesign and here are the pics
Up front, it will receive a more angular rendition of Kia’s trademarked tiger nose grille, a sculpted bumper with quad LED fog lights, and a thin piece of chrome trim that connects the headlights. Kia is trying to move its models up a notch on the market, so the new Cadenza will feel markedly more upscale than the outgoing model.
The interior boasts higher-quality materials for the new model, with a layout that largely mirrors that of the Optima. Heading around to the back and over the roof, which is very low-slung for a four-door coupe-like profile, the Cadenza definitely looks to be far more elegant and sporty.
Known in its South Korean homeland as the K7, the Cadenza is a large sedan that sits above the Optima – known there as the K5 – in Kia’s family-car range. Rumors also suggest the arrival of a new 2.0L turbocharged four-banger as a new base engine.
The fully redesigned Kia Cadenza will go on sale next year in various global markets, and now we get our first look in the form of three sketches. The all-new Cadenza offers a bold reinterpretation of the current model’s popular design.
Inside the Cadenza, Kia has designed a fresher, more luxurious atmosphere for consumers.
Kia has released a trio of teaser sketches for its next Cadenza large sedan, ahead of an official unveiling for overseas markets.
Kia says that the next-generation Cadenza will have a focus on cutting-edge design, which can been seen in the images above and below. The Cadenza is not on sale in the UK.
