Kill Bill 3 is a possibility: Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino attends THE HATEFUL EIGHT Press Conference at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on December 5, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. The Hateful Eight sees Tarantino follow up 2012’s Django Unchained with another gun-slinging Western, this time set in post-Civil War, Colorado.
“I was in jail three different times, the last time was for eight days”, Tarantino told an interviewer.
“I do not feel like the police force is this sinister black hand organization that goes out and plucks up individual citizens in a conspiracy kind of way”, said Tarantino on Saturday. Of course, Ellis has contended that there were plenty of other opinions about other filmmakers that were edited out of the piece, and that other media outlets had largely mischaracterized Tarantino’s remarks. I think they got carried away with their own rhetoric and got out over their skis – pretty much what I think they think about me.
So, are you ready to be face-to-face with Quentin Tarantino?
Below, there is enough teased to give more incentive to amble on down to your theater of choice starting Christmas Day to take in Tarantino’s movie the way it was meant to be seen.
“The Hateful Eight” centers on The Hangman (Russell) and his fugitive Domergue racing towards the town of Red Rock to bring her to justice. “I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and not have to be in the genre machine; she could really live her life for a while”. In fact, this hypothetical return was long-planned: Tarantino said in 2009 that he would return to the franchise after at least 10 years.
He continued: “I knew there would be some people who wouldn’t get it, or wouldn’t understand my intentions”.
Numerous police groups have said they’ll boycott the film after Tarantino attended an anti-police brutality rally in October where said he was protesting “murder” and was there to demonstrate that he’s ‘on the side of the murdered’. “Especially in terms with me as a writer, and particularly – also, as a filmmaker – but I’m not anxious about the filmmaking part because if I’ve written it, that’s what I’m going to do”, he said. He also said he had no doubt Tim, who also teamed up with him on Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, was not behind the incident, with Michael joking that comment caused him a lot of problems.
