Kim Kardashian has taken some, er, yummy measures after the birth of her son Saint West.
That’s right. Kim Kardashian is eating her placenta.
Celebrity moms, including January Jones and Kim Zolciak, have been raving about placenta-eating.
Kim is still recovering from the birth of Saint West, but says she will lose baby weight soon and will show off her post-pregnancy body to fans when she’s ready. Kim revealed that only Caitlyn would be eating the pizza as she was eating healthier now and she was trying to shed off the pounds she had gained during the duration of her pregnancy.
“I mean, she’s a really strong girl – a little cranky when she gets uncomfortable – but other than that, she’s wonderful”, Kris told the press while attending a Women in Entertainment breakfast event organized by Hollywood Reporter.
“I nearly died”, she said, referring to her end weight.
While the new mother remained off camera throughout the chat, she revealed her goal was to get down to 120 pounds, as she was 124 pounds when she married Kanye in Italy in 2014.
From what I hear, momming is hard, why not try to avoid crippling depression? Always. This time, however, Kim might be onto something good-after the birth of her second child, the reality TV star is having her placenta freeze-dried and made into pills as she believes it will ward off postpartum depression.
“I really didn’t want the baby blues and thought I can’t go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones – made by me, for me”.
The mom of two said that some of her friends had inspired her to give it a go after crediting the pills with stopping them from developing postpartum depression. “I started researching and read about so many moms who felt this same way and said the overall healing process was so much easier”, she said, adding that she had “great results” and no signs of depression after giving birth to North.
