Kim Kardashian, Kanye West: Celebrity couple haven’t named son yet
Kim Kardashian gave birth to her son with husband Kanye West on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Easton Robert West certainly sounds like a solid name, but there’s no doubt non-fans will have something critical to say about the couple once again incorporating a direction (sort of) into their child’s name.
The pair’s happy news was announced on Kim’s website, with a photo of her and Kanye holding hands being posted alongside a sweet celebratory caption. Just like what Kardashian told People in a previous interview, naming North when she was born was “the last thing” she and her husband did. Before her son’s arrival, Kim said that she and Kanye still didn’t have a name picked out. The report stated that the proud parents aren’t anxious about it either; they are just enjoying new parents to the flawless baby.
He died in 2003 from esophageal cancer aged 59. Considering the last name wasn’t exactly the most common, it remains to be seen whether Kardashian and West choose a less geographically appropriate first name for their child, or double down and call him “East”. The longer they wait to share the baby boy’s name – the bigger the price tag on his name becomes.
Poor Kim reportedly suffered “intense anxiety” in the days leading up to the birth, but she’s relieved everything worked out well.
The baby’s name was not yet revealed, but the Twitterverse has already chosen his name.
“I’ve surrendered to the placenta issues and actually haven’t been thinking too deeply about them lately”, the 35-year-old explained on her blog.
In June 2013, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was forced to deliver North five weeks early due to health concerns after her blood pressure spiked.
Then, in late November, well into her final trimester, Kardashian had another setback in the form of the flu.
What are your thoughts on Kim’s son’s yet to be announced name?
