Kim Kardashian Kimoji: Kim Kardashian Kimoji app “breaks the internet”
Kim Kardashian West has done it again. The 35-year-old star apologised to the multinational technology company for the technical issues that occurred due to her app, reported Aceshowbiz.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to Twitter to ask her fans to be patient after the App Store crashed as there were “massive downloads ” of her new emoji app called Kimoji.
“Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!!!” Followed by “I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!” The site did not cite any source for its claims but said it heard somewhere that the tech team at Apple “swooped in and shored up” the App Store, and this was the reason it did not crash fully.
She also shared how her family is excited to use these new series of emojis.
Kim reached 55 million followers just one day after her mother Kris Jenner got her number up to 10 million. According to Fortune, the app, which costs $1.99, was the top downloaded paid app in Apple’s app store on Monday. It features hundreds of emojis that have been designed after Kim, her famous assets, and several other iconic looks and situations in her life. She and her sisters also launched their own personal websites and apps, which have also gained a wide subscriber base.
