Kim Kardashian robbery puts ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ on hiatus
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint by two men who authorities say made off with jewelry worth £9 million.
Since investigations of the robbery have begun, Kardashian West has expressed to Paris police that the concierge seemed suspiciously calm during the attack on Sunday night, despite being threatened with guns. Now, she’s having some regrets. A source told ET that while the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has published new content on their various mobile apps, Kim has not.
“She is badly shaken but physically unharmed”, Kim’s rep told the media.
The robbers zip-tied Kardashian’s hands with plastic handcuffs, duct-taped her mouth and ankles and dumped her in the bathtub.
Kanye did not mention Kim’s ordeal but told the crowd at his 90 minute show that it was “good to be home”.
He believes that Kim could stand to lose about $1 million a month by not posting – but that doesn’t take into account how much she could earn once she returns to social media. The reality star has arrived back home in Los Angeles, amid the news her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner have canceled their own public appearances out of safety precaution. He cited a “family emergency” at the time.
TMZ, quoting an unidentified source close to Kardashian, said that when she does return to work she will cut down on her use of social media and displays of her wealthy lifestyle. She could have never imagined being robbed like this.
Thankfully, Kardashian earned an estimated $51 million in 2015 alone, according to Forbes.
Following the October 3 incident, TMZ reported that the reality television star told French investigators the concierge was suspiciously calm throughout the harrowing event. She’s still on the mend, as she keeps a low profile at the moment. “It’s going to take her a very long time to feel safe again”.
