Kira Kazantsev Crowned the Miss America 2015

Defeating 52 talented contestants, Kira Kazantsev emerged the new face of one of the most popular beauty pageant. The blonde beauty, aged just 22, seemed to the favourite.

Almost 52 beautiful and deserving contestants took part in the challenging beauty contest from all across the country as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Beating all of them cleanly, Kira was crowned the prestigious Miss America 2015. It is one of those titles that girls all across the globe envy. Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev, was conferred this celebrated title. No doubt, she has enough prowesses to exceed the fine talents of her competitors. She was crowned at the annual pageant held on September 14, Sunday in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The beauty queen “sashayed down” the ivory track flaunting her magenta bikini complemented by sky-high heels. She cat-walked easily with her great skill! Later, she took the stage to hymn a version of the Oscar-nominated hit, “Happy”.

There were several exciting moments in the competition. Miss Idaho, Sierra Sandison, early on in the night, gained a following by taking part from her home state while carrying an insulin pump. She was a diabetic patient. She was conferred with the “America’s Choice” spot. Also, the hosts Lara Spencer and Chris Harrison, declared that there would be a 16^th finalist, decided by the Judge’s choice, which went on to Miss North Dakota, Jacky Arness, who was bestowed with Miss Congeniality award.
