Klopp confident ‘all will be good’ with Sturridge

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Daniel Sturridge will get plenty of chances to play this season despite missing out against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. Tottenham’s recently signed striker has thus far this season played a much larger role than he or likely anyone at the club expected him to play.

The Liverpool Echo say Jurgen Klopp is adamant that Ings remains part of his plans for the season, even though he is yet to feature. “But for the game today, I made the decision that the kind of defending what it was and for what we needed”.

“I wish we could have won it”.

Klopp continued: “Yes I wish we would have won it, but now we have to accept the point and that’s no problem because it’s Tottenham”.
