Kristaps Porzingis probable vs

David Blatt spent more than 20 years coaching overseas before taking over the Cavs last season. With the Knicks next game tomorrow against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Porzingis’ availability will be in serious doubt.

According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, Porzingis suffered a neck strain in a play that looked scarier than it ended up being.

Rookie point guard Jerian Grant also added a career-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting while pulling down four rebounds and dishing out three assists, with only one turnover, in 23 minutes off the bench. Fisher admitted that he is thinking about changing the lineup, but is hesitant to start the rookie.

In spite of that stigma, No. 4 pick Kristaps Porzingis is slowly but surely proving not to be the joke we all thought he might be in early action this season. “So I do know for sure that when I’m ready I will be out there because I’m trying to play yesterday, so I’m excited”.

With Vujacic and Calderon struggling to do much of anything, a call to Fredette is not the worst idea.
