Kristen Bell to Rejoin ‘Vericona Mars’ Creator for ‘iZombie’ Episode
We wondered whether or not Kristen Bell would ever appear on “iZombie”, if for no other reason than that she was so iconic to Rob Thomas’ other show in “Veronica Mars”. However, as first reported by EW.com, it turns out that Bell will actually (sort of) be guesting on iZombie in Season 2 with a voice-over role in an upcoming episode.
Bell’s iZombie role reunites her with Thomas, who created Veronica Mars, the teen detective series that jump-started her career.
There’s no word yet on what her part is exactly, but the episode concerns lead character Liv (played by Rose McIver) taking on the memories of a librarian who moonlighted as a erotic fiction writer.
Rose McIver, who plays Liv Moore on The CW series, announced the news in an Entertainment Weekly video Tuesday, saying the cast is “very, very excited” to have the 35-year-old actress on the show. Details on how Bell fits into the story are being kept under wraps.
iZombie, which recently received a six episode vote of confidence from CW, has just scored a pretty big guest appearance.
Bell, who is now a series regular on Showtime’s “House of Lies”, will lend her voice to episode 11 titled “Fifty Shades of Grey Matter” which is slated to air on January 26.
