Kristen Stewart on a New Twilight Movie: “I’d Be Interested”

“I just want to get this one out first, and then we’ll starting thinking about a sequel”. There are some great one-liners here, and excellent, crackly interplay between Eisenberg, Stewart, and Britton, who steals the show as the one person who actually understands what’s going on and knows how to deal with it.

I sat down with Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg in New York, to talk about their new movie AMERICAN ULTRA. Stewart’s next big premiere will be for Equals at the Venice Film Festival in September.

The former co-stars, also known as Jacob Black and Bella Swan in the “Twilight” movies, shared awesome chemistry at the red carpet and also smiled for photographers as they walked the red carpet in Los Angeles Wednesday. I think we’re all aware that his career hasn’t exactly taken off since the Twilight franchise. “So, I just cold read, and I was like, ‘I have no concept of [the character]”, she said, adding that she hadn’t been “that exceptionally nervous in a long time” as she was at that audition. Stewart’s other love interest in the films was none other than Robert Pattinson. “It’s hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it”.

“I’ll be honest with you, (screenwriter) Max (Landis) is an eager, enthusiastic and very prolific writer, so he already has the sequel down and he sort of pitched it to me”, Nourizadeh said.

“American Ultra” centres on Mike (Eisenberg), a seemingly hapless and unmotivated stoner whose small-town life with his live-in girlfriend, Phoebe (Stewart), is suddenly turned upside down. Coming to theaters August 21, 2015, it is a mish-mosh of other good films trying to be played off as an original idea, but not succeeding, and not even up to par with the aforementioned films.
