Kristen Wiig’s ‘Cox’ Loving ‘Zoolander 2’ Character Will Haunt Your Dreams

Kristen Wiig’s frozen-faced Zoolander No. 2 character, Alexanya Atoz, is promoting her House of Atoz’s Youth Milk face cream in a new promo for the film.

The story is set a decade after the first comedy, with the story picking up after both Derek and Hansel have left the fashion world behind.

Zoolander 2 centers on Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson), who are recruited by Valentina (Penelope Cruz), an Interpol agent and former swimwear model, to stop a deranged killer who is targeting the most handsome people in the world.

In the mock infomercial, Wiig plays her cod-Russian character, an elderly beauty tycoon named Alexanya Atoz, who is the head of the “House of Atoz”. We get an inside peek at the labia-tory, where “cocks” (a.k.a. cooks) are formulating Atoz’s signature Youth Milk.

According to Atoz, “Youth Milk” uses “hydrating chemicals from desert flower cactus” and distilled water from the streets of Indonesia, and apparently has given the fashionista her “youthful” appearance.

That’s a running thread though today’s array of TV spots and clips, and fans of the cult 2001 original release will pick up on numerous references, be it Todd getting unfairly drenched with a piping hot latte or Ben Stiller’s Derek carelessly dancing while behind the wheel.

The long-awaited Zoolander 2 is due for release on February 12th.
