Kurt Angle Says Surprise Return At WWE Royal Rumble ‘Not Gonna Happen’

The victor over the rope who lasts long will be the WWE World Champion and he will get the chance to compete for glory the WWE World Championship at the WrestlersMania.

The Royal Rumble as a concept was only getting started with Royal Rumble 1990 being the third event of its kind in history. The Undertaker is one of the favorites with a potential WrestleMania title match against Roman Reigns, John Cena or AJ Styles in his future.

The Road to WWE WrestleMania 34 will begin in Philadelphia next January. In fact, nearly everything which had been planned was off the table. Why?

ROMAN REIGNS has eliminated the most wrestlers in one Rumble, downing 12 competitors in the 2014 event to beat Kane’s record of 11 from 2001. That’s literally how surprise appearances work. While I may not see that friend as often as I’d like anymore – and definitely not that ex at this point – those nights hold some of my most cherished wrestling-watching memories. I know the dirt sheets are saying WWE scrapped the match, but I personally refuse to believe it. Taker vs Cena makes too much sense to just completely scrap. He was originally meant to be taking on The Undertaker before Vince McMahon changed his mind. For the first time ever, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, and The Undertaker shared the ring. Leading to WrestleMania 30, Batista was making his immaculate return to the WWE.

Who will win the 2017 Royal Rumble?

The Royal Rumble, along with WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor make up WWE’s “Big Four” events. This leaves some pretty sparse options.

Then who? It would need to be someone who can do everything in the ring and tell a compelling story. Members from both tag teams were involved in matches.

Even at 48-years-old, Angle has kept himself in wrestling shape and has competed in matches across the world over the past 12 months. On top of that, there are huge championship matches and potentially something involving Seth Rollins and Triple H. Let’s take a look at what’s to come in the Alamodome.

Sasha is already a star in the women’s division, and WWE should give Nia her first major PPV win to help elevate her.

Now we’re down to three, but since Finn Balor isn’t really a demon he can’t actually recover from injury faster than a normal human. Not bad for Philly, historically one of the biggest wrestling markets.
