Kwabs Recruits Fetty Wap For His ‘Walk’ Remix
Fetty Wap is relatively new to the rap scene, but he’s accomplished something a lot of the most well known rappers haven’t been able to.
This morning, MediaTakeOut reported that Fetty Wap had been jumped and robbed at Stadium nightclub in DC, suggesting Fetty had his chain taken and some of his dreads ripped out (as you likely know, they’re not real).
Not only has the New Jersey native followed up his breakout with equally catchy and melodic jams, but he’s become a hitmaker out of the gate – the likes of which the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart has never seen before. Fetty’s second charting single “My Way” featuring Monty comes in at No. 3, “679” featuring Remy Boyz is at No. 5, and “Again” at No. 8.
2 on the list, with “My Way” trailing behind at No. 3.
With his album being released on September 25, hopefully he can continue this streak because he’s absolutely dominating. At such an early point in his hip-hop career, he’s the first to have his first four singles debut in the top 10 of this specific chart.
“Nothing but greatest is coming from this for me”, he told Boombox back in February.
Fetty Wap might be having the best week ever.
