Kyiv to host 2018 Champions League final
Estonia’s capital, Tallinn, will host the UEFA Super Cup final on August 18, 2018.
A UEFA statement added that a decision on the venue for the 2018 Europa League final would be made at a later stage.
UEFA’s Executive Committee announced this morning that the 2018 Champions League final will be held in Kiev despite security fears over the country’s ongoing conflict with pro-Russian separatist rebels in the east of the country.
The announcement comes one day after Slovenian Aleksander Ceferin was elected the new UEFA president. Kyiv’s Olympic National Sports Complex has been selected to host the match.
The Ukrainian football federation announced the Olympic Stadium would play host to the showpiece match on May 26, 2018.

The competition’s showpiece will be held in the Ukrainian capital one month before Russian Federation host the World Cup.
Poroshenko expressed confidence that Ukraine would hold the final “at the highest level”.
Real Madrid won the very first European Cup and are also the defending champions, having beat city rivals Atletico on penalties in 2016 to claim a record eleventh title at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.
