LaBeouf arrested for public intoxication
In yet another incident of actor arrest, while Shia was making a fool of himself in Austin, Randy Quaid and his wife were trying in vain to cross the Canada-Vermont border. The actor has spent a few time in rehab for alcoholism – which he was arrested by the New York police prior.
CNN reports that the 29-year-old actor was arrested for public intoxication on Friday, October 9 in Austin, Texas.
LeBeouf also allegedly claimed he was a member of the National Guard and told the officer to “do whatever the f-k you gotta do!” When he reportedly failed to stop jaywalking, he was placed in handcuffs and taken in to Travis County Jail for booking and later released on his own recognisance.
Transformers actor and one of the internet’s favourite people, Shia LaBeouf, was having a little too much fun during Austin City Limits festival, the second weekend of which kicked off in the titular Texan city over the weekend. However, they were denied access to the venue due to their intoxication.
In June a year ago LaBeouf was pulled under the watchful eye of a New York court, accused of criminal trespass and scattered behavior at a Broadway musical, however was in this manner discharged.
More details from the arrest have filtered out, and it seems that Labeouf’s method-acting madness from Fury may have stuck around in his psyche.
It’s just the latest legal drama starring LaBeouf, whose career has taken a hit after a number of bar room altercations, an accusation of plagiarism surrounding a short film he directed and head-scratching performance art stunts.
